Afghanistan and Pakistan will head to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for a tri-series from August 29 to September 7.

The tournament will serve as the final leg of preparation for these sides ahead of the eight-nation Asia Cup, which kicks off on September 9 in Abu Dhabi.

All games in the tri-series will be played at the iconic Sharjah Cricket Stadium. Pakistan will take on Afghanistan in the opener on Friday.
