Here’s the TV details, tip times for BYU, Utah basketball games

The final piece to the scheduling puzzle was put into place Tuesday, as the Big 12 released its television schedule and tip times for the 2025-26 basketball season.

While the league announced its conference schedule last month, tip times and TV details were still needed.

Now, with the season just weeks away, those details are set.

Here’s a look at the full schedule for BYU and Utah, with details on tip times and how to watch their games.

What stood out about BYU’s TV details: Of BYU’s 18 Big 12 games, 17 will be on linear networks.

The Cougars’ Big 12 opener at Kansas State (Jan. 3) will be on CBS, while two other conference games (home vs. Utah, Jan. 24 and at West Virginia, Feb. 28) will be broadcast on Fox, as will a nonconference neutral-site game with No. 4 UConn (Nov. 15 at TD Center in Boston).

Twelve of BYU’s Big 12 games will take place on the ESPN family of networks, including when the Cougars host No. 2 Houston on Feb. 7 in an 8:30 p.m. MST tip. Three other nonconference games will also be on ESPN linear networks.

BYU will have one conference contest livestreamed on Peacock, the Cougars’ Big 12 home opener against Arizona State on Jan. 7.

In nonconference play, the Cougars will have two games on TNT: the season opener vs. Villanova in Las Vegas on Nov. 3, and BYU’s Dec. 19 home game against Abilene Christian.

What stood out about Utah’s TV details: Of the Utes’ 18 Big 12 games, 12 will be on linear networks.

Utah’s first trip to Kansas’ Allen Fieldhouse as a Big 12 member on Feb. 7 will be televised on Fox, and three other games (home vs. TCU, Jan. 17; home vs. Oklahoma State, Jan. 31; at Arizona State, Feb. 28) will be broadcast on TNT.

Three Utah league contests will be on one of the ESPN linear networks, highlighted by the Runnin’ Utes home game against BYU on Jan. 10, which will be on ESPN.

The Utes will also have three games on Peacock, including the team’s Big 12 opener at home against Arizona on Jan. 3.

In nonconference play, Utah’s neutral-site matchup with Mississippi State at Delta Center on Dec. 13 will be on ESPNU, while its Dec. 29 road game at Washington will be broadcast on FS1.
