Lincoln City vs. Chelsea, League Cup: Live blog; highlights

Time to pour some Carabao into our cups and get back to the task of winning some football games. Chelsea come in winless in three straight, with back-to-back defeats. This game won’t get those points back, but hopefully will give us a chance to rest and recover, and have a bit of fun maybe, even, as we take care of business against third division opposition.

Enzo Maresca has certainly made plenty of changes, though Josh Acheampong and Marc Guiu are completely missing in action. Guiu would’ve been eligible after a recent rule change, but evidently we didn’t know, or didn’t care. Youngsters Ollie Harrison, Reggie Walsh, and Shim Mheuka are on the bench.
