The International Cricket Council announced the nominees for the ICC Player of the Month for August 2025 on September 8, and this time, fast bowlers dominated the chart. Henry took 16 wickets in two Test matches at an average of just 9.12.In the first Test, the New Zealand fast bowler took six wickets in the first innings and three more in the second essay. Seales took 10 wickets in three matches at an average of 10 and an economy of 4.10 to help the West Indies script the history.After a not-so-impressive start in the first ODI match, where he took one wicket for 59 runs, Seales bounced back in the second match by taking three wickets in seven overs, including the big wickets of Babar Azam and Saim Ayub. Seales delivered his best performance in the third ODI.Seales claimed 6 wickets for just 18 runs—the third-best figures by a West Indies bowler in ODI history—and helped the Men in Maroon to beat Pakistan by 200 runs to clinch the series 2-1.
