Denis Law tribute mural takes shape in his home city

The impressive mural can be seen in Aberdeen

An eye-catching large mural of football legend Denis Law is taking shape on a high-rise in his home city of Aberdeen.

He was born and raised in the Granite City and played most of his career for Manchester United.

Law - whose 30 goals for Scotland made him his country's joint top scorer - died on 17 January aged 84.

Artist Jerome Davenport has been working on the tribute project in the Printfield area of Aberdeen.
