Donegal began their Allianz Football League campaign with a win over Dublin in Ballybofey with four points separating the sides in the end.

Their game with Kerry last weekend was postponed but there were no signs of fatigue as Dáire Ó Baoille led the way scoring two two-pointers in the first-half, bringing his total to 0-06 and picking up the Player of the Match award.

Dublin did cut the lead down to one and kept in the game in the second half, as Ciarán Kilkenny hit their first-ever two-pointer but Donegal finished strong to pick up the win.

Jim McGuinness’ side are back in action next weekend as they face Kerry in that rescheduled fixture.
