Marcus Rashford has given his first interview after completing a loan move from Manchester United to Barcelona.

The new signing will spend the 2025-26 season at Camp Nou and could even extend his stay if Barca take up a purchase option in his contract.

And while he’s here, he’s hoping to add more titles to his collection.

“I’m very excited. I think it’s a club every player wants to play for,” he told the club’s media. “They’ve made me feel at home in these first few hours; everyone has made me feel very comfortable. “It’s simple: I want to win everything. I think this is the best place to win titles. It’s a very ambitious team, and I’ll try to help them however I can.I’ve always enjoyed watching good football. I think I’m going to enjoy playing here. It’s a family club, where great players play.” “This team won almost everything last year, but I see the ambition everyone has and the desire they have to achieve their best version here.”

Rashford also said that Hansi Flick had played a big role in his decision to move to Barcelona and that he’s looking forward to working with the German coach.

“Hansi Flick was another key factor in my arrival. The conversations I had with him were very positive. He’s proven to be one of the top coaches. He led a young team to such a successful season and came back to preseason wanting more,” he added. “As a player, we always appreciate the support, and as a new player, I really appreciate the affection the fans are showing me. I feel at home.”

The new signing is now expected to make his debut on the club’s pre-season tour of Asia, potentially in their first game against Vissel Kobe.
