Marcus Rashford has given his first interview after completing a loan move from Manchester United to Barcelona. The new signing will spend the 2025-26 season at Camp Nou and could even extend his stay if Barca take up a purchase option in his contract. And while he’s here, he’s hoping to add more titles to his collection.“I’m very excited. I think it’s a club every player wants to play for,” he told the club’s media. “They’ve made me feel at home in these first few hours; everyone has made me feel very comfortable. “It’s simple: I want to win everything. I think this is the best place to win titles. It’s a very ambitious team, and I’ll try to help them however I can.I’ve always enjoyed watching good football. I think I’m going to enjoy playing here. It’s a family club, where great players play.” “This team won almost everything last year, but I see the ambition everyone has and the desire they have to achieve their best version here.”Rashford also said that Hansi Flick had played a big role in his decision to move to Barcelona and that he’s looking forward to working with the German coach.“Hansi Flick was another key factor in my arrival. The conversations I had with him were very positive. He’s proven to be one of the top coaches. He led a young team to such a successful season and came back to preseason wanting more,” he added. “As a player, we always appreciate the support, and as a new player, I really appreciate the affection the fans are showing me. I feel at home.”The new signing is now expected to make his debut on the club’s pre-season tour of Asia, potentially in their first game against Vissel Kobe.
