THE Carlton Football Club has moved up to pick No.9 in the first round of this year’s draft, and has also acquired three additional second-round picks, after completing a pick swap with Hawthorn.As part of the deal, the Blues swapped first round selections with the Hawks (switching pick No.10 for pick No.9), while also receiving pick Nos.31, 42 and 43 in exchange for what was the Club’s pick No.22.As well as moving up a spot in the first round, Carlton now holds four selections in the opening two rounds of this year’s draft.The Blues’ current draft hand stands at pick Nos. 9, 31, 42, 43, 54, 67, 72, 87 and 105.
