Sabalenka vs Kyrgios headlines tennis 'Battle of the Sexes'

A tennis "Battle of the Sexes" exhibition match in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, will showcase World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka facing Nick Kyrgios at the Coca-Cola Arena on Sunday, December 28.

Both tennis stars, Aryna Sabalenka and Nick Kyrgios, have taken to social media to confirm their participation in the upcoming event. Despite grappling with a series of injuries, including an ongoing knee issue that has led to Nick Kyrgios' withdrawal from the 2025 grass-court season, he remains unwavering in his confidence that he can cause an upset against the four-time Grand Slam champion Sabalenka.

"I cannot wait to get back out on court," Kyrgios said in an Instagram story. "Honestly, I'm feeling amazing. I never thought I would be back into this position, being able to travel the world, see my fans and play some amazing tennis."

Sabalenka and Kyrgios will also participate in an exhibition event in New York on December 8. However, they will not be facing each other. Sabalenka will compete against Naomi Osaka, while Kyrgios will play against Tommy Paul at the iconic Madison Square Garden.
