Manchester City's Jack Grealish has responded to Marcus Rashford's loan exit from Manchester United. The Reds academy graduate finalised a season-long loan move to Barcelona on Wednesday.

The Catalan giants will be covering Rashford's wages during his stay at Camp Nou, which is estimated to save United around £12million. The La Liga champions also have the option to sign him permanently.

United postponed Rashford's return to Carrington for pre-season earlier this month and took away his iconic No. 10 shirt. However, he now has his dream move to Barcelona after spending the second half of 2024/25 on loan at Aston Villa.

Now, City winger and England teammate Grealish also responded to Rashford’s switch to Catalonia. The 29-year-old ‘liked’ one of the striker’s posts on Instagram in which he thanked everyone in Barcelona for a “warm welcome”.

Rashford admitted United have been "in a period of change and have been for a while" as he was presented by Barcelona.

"The situation with United is the club is in a period of change and they have been for a while," he said.
