David Moyes and Gary Neville disagree with Ian Wright over West Ham vs Everton prediction

Everton are set to face West Ham United this weekend, and David Moyes, Gary Neville and Ian Wright have all made their predictions.

After Everton’s 1-0 defeat to Southampton on the weekend, supporters began to turn on manager Sean Dyche.

The Friedkin Group aren’t happy with Dyche but they recognise they’ll likely have to wait until the end of the season to appoint his long-term successor.

Though, they are willing to dismiss him if they feel endangered of relegation, so this weekend’s clash against fellow strugglers West Ham United is massive.

Julen Lopetegui’s future at West Ham is far from secure and he could be dismissed if his side suffers another defeat.

Everton are really in must-win territory going into Saturday’s game as the pressure is mounting on Dyche.

MORE EVERTON STORIES

Speaking on the Stick to Football podcast, Ian Wright, David Moyes and Gary Neville predicted what will happen at the London Stadium.

Moyes: “Everton are not easy to beat. I know they lost 1-0 to Southampton but they are usually hard to play against Everton.”

Ian Wright: “1-0 Everton.”

Gary Neville: “2-2.”

If the predictions transpire, perhaps that could spell the end of Lopetegui’s reign at The Hammers, especially if Wright is proved correct.

Victory for Everton would see them leapfrog them in the table.

Sean Dyche must start Beto

Saturday’s team selection will be really telling, as fans have called for a number of changes following the Southampton defeat.

Supporters have urged for Beto to start instead of Dominic Calvert-Lewin, who looks completely bereft of confidence at the moment.

Jarrad Branthwaite’s exclusion at the weekend was also a decision that fumed many, so perhaps he’ll make only his second start of the season.

A telling weekend lies ahead for Dyche.
