We’ve made it, tennis fans. Sunday’s ATP Paris Masters final feels like the unofficial end of the 2025 season, though there are still four ATP events on the schedule. To reach the final at the Rolex Paris Masters, you have to play some terrific tennis; something both finalists have done. No. 2 seed Jannik Sinner and No. 9 seed Felix Auger-Aliassime are set to do battle for the third time over the last three months. As always, we at LWOT provide the preview and prediction for the final. But who will lift the trophy in Paris?ATP Paris Final PredictionJannik Sinner vs Felix Auger-AliassimeHead-to-Head: Sinner 2-3 Auger-AliassimeJannik Sinner is an absolute buzzsaw on indoor hard courts. He is 22-0 on the surface since the beginning of 2024, and 42-2 in his previous 44. That form has not wavered at the 2025 ATP Paris Masters. The Italian has not dropped a set en route to the final and is coming off a 6-0 6-1 blasting of Alexander Zverev in the semis. If Sinner wins on Sunday, he will overtake Carlos Alcaraz for the No. 1 spot in the live rankings. On the other side of the net, Felix Auger-Aliassime is in his second career Masters final (2024 Madrid) and is seeking his first title. The 25-year-old Canadian has played some unbelievable tennis to end the season. Since the US Open, Auger-Aliassime is 19-3 with four wins over top-15 ranked opponents. He currently sits at No. 8 in the live rankings, his best mark since March 2023.Auger-Aliassime is playing arguably the best tennis of his career, but will it be enough against Sinner? In their two meetings this season, Sinner brushed Auger-Aliassime aside: 6-0 6-2 in Cincinnati and 6-1 3-6 6-3 6-4 at the US Open. For the Canadian to have any chance in this match, he will have to play incredibly aggressively. It’s impossible to hit through Sinner, but you have to go for your shots early and often. If you try and play a defensive battle against the Italian, you will be shaking hands before you blink.I am hoping for a tight ATP Paris final as we wind down the 2025 season; however, it’s tough to see Auger-Aliassime hanging with Sinner.Prediction: Sinner in 2Main Photo Credit: Mike Frey – Imagn Images
