Kilmeena and Moy Davitts into the intermediate final

Kilmeena and Moy Davitts will contest the Egan Jewellers Intermediate Football Championship final next Sunday.

Kilmeena sustained a second half rally from Kiltane to come away winners in their semi final today.

Damien Egan’s side are into their third intermediate final in four years, looking to go straight back up to senior.

Moy Davitts, down at half time, kicked into gear in the second half to see off Ardnaree Sarsfields in Ballina today.

Ardnaree were full value for their half time lead, but 10 unanswered points in the second half helped Moy Davitts to get over the line.

The intermediate final will be played next Sunday in Hastings Insurance MacHale Park – a seven day turnaround.
