The former French Open and Wimbledon champion did cut Pegula's advantage to 4-3, but the American pulled away to win the final two games.In the second set, Krejčíková's serving issues continued and Pegula took advantage. Krejčíková's overall first serve win percentage was 43% in the match and she was 31% in second serve win percentage."I think I've been playing some really good tennis, I've just been playing very solid," Pegula said after the match. "I've been having very good starts, so I really wanted to do that today, especially against someone like her who's very dangerous."AdvertisementAdvertisement AdvertisementPegula, a three-time winner on tour this year, will face either No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka or Markéta Vondroušová in the semifinals on Thursday. Sabalenka and Vondroušová will play their quarterfinal match on Tuesday evening.
