Rabbitohs star Jai Arrow has downplayed his fiery verbal stoush with a Bulldogs fan that resulted in police intervention.A video taken by a fan in the stands at Stadium Australia on Friday night during the Bulldogs' 32-0 win over the Rabbitohs appeared to show a furious Arrow being held back by assistant coach John Sutton as he attempted to confront a Bulldogs fan nearby.Arrow admitted "passion got the better of me" in a statement to the Sydney Morning Herald after the incident. It is unclear exactly what was said by the fan in question, who is seen making a love heart with his hands in the back-and-forth with Arrow before being spoken to by multiple police officers later on in the same video.Rabbitohs coach Wayne Bennett denied any knowledge of the incident when asked about it in his post-match press conference."It would have been good had he got upset on the football field. [But] I don’t know anything about it," he told reporters.Arrow's teammate Cody Walker also fronted the press conference alongside Bennett, and said he did not hear what the exchange had been about."I didn't hear it. I was next to him, but I didn't hear it. There were 65,000 people there," Walker said.Souths star Latrell Mitchell had an afternoon to forget against the Bulldogs. Mitchell was moved into the centres after half-time."I wouldn't say that (Mitchell won't play in the halves)," Bennett said."We've got to make another team next week."We've probably got a couple of injuries out of this game.ABC Sport Daily podcast ABC Sport Daily is your daily sports conversation.
