Marcus Rashford is the prime example of this, being phenomenal for Barcelona over the past few weeks since the international break.

The 27-year-old has managed two goals and four assists for Barcelona, with the Champions League in particular being a happy stomping ground.

Rashford scored an excellent brace against Newcastle in the competition’s first game week, and this week, he turned provider for the La Liga giants.

This week’s performance against the reigning champions might not have caught the headlines, but Rashford might have quietly had his best display for Barcelona yet.

After a modest start to life on the Catalan side, Rashford really found his feet in September, scoring twice and assisting three. Now, October has started in a similar vein.

Rashford started for Barcelona against PSG, and he assisted the Spanish side’s only goal in a 2-1 defeat.

Rashford loves playing PSG as he is often successful against the Ligue 1 side, and he put in a really impressive performance here.

The left winger lasted 72 minutes, in which he was a consistent threat and played a big part in the most dangerous moments from the hosts.

Due to this impressive display, United fans reacted on social media.

After watching Rashford running rings around PSG, United fans have been blown away on social media.

Commenting on the game, United legend and supporter Rio Ferdinand claimed that Rashford looked reborn at Barcelona.

One fan ironically wrote, “Marcus Rashford has found his level”, which happens to be far above where United are currently.

“Rashford wowwwwwwww”, added another supporter who was impressed.

Meanwhile, this fan was left angry at the prospect of Rashford being sold for just £30m: “We’re about to sell a 100m asset in Rashford to Barcelona for pennies because of Amorim.”

This fan commented on a clip of Rashford dribbling, raving over his strength: “Rashford plays like he’s Iron Man, he’s too strong to be stopped here.”

One fan was pointing out that Rashford’s creativity isn’t even his main threat: “This guy is genuinely one of the best creators itw and it’s a side power.”

Another fan couldn’t help but admit the big issue United are facing: “Rashford’s bordering on world class while we’re 15th and 14th in successive seasons”.

A final fan praised the way Barcelona have platformed Rashford: “The way Rashford is being used in this Barcelona team is brilliant, he’s been given the confidence because he isn’t looked at as a huge problem or the saviour.”
