Drives me nuts.”More Tennis NewsStubbs was not done there, and followed up with an additional social media post to continue her rant about TV cameras panning away from handshakes.She said, “And also, don’t take the camera off the players after match point! I want to see them and their handshake. Don’t show me their player box and the crowd! Please I beg u!”Rennae Stubbs says what Ben Shelton and Flavio Cobolli should have done differentlyWhile she was unable to watch the whole exchange at the time, due to its virality on social media and beyond, Stubbs was able to review the whole situation between Shelton and Cobolli.Despite understanding that it was all in the heat of the moment, Stubbs claimed that Shelton and Cobolli should have actually taken the conversation away from the cameras and into the locker room instead.“They’re friends and Ben and Flavio should have taken that conversation off the court, but in the heat of the moment after three hrs and it being such a good match I can understand,” explained Stubbs. “They’ll move on and so should we. Well played guys! Roll it back at the [US Open] please.”After the match in his press conference, Shelton revealed that he had actually spoken to Cobolli in the locker room and they had been able to clear things up.The next time they could go head-to-head is at the Cincinnati Open, but Ben Shelton still has his Canadian Open quarterfinal to play against Alex de Minaur.
