As Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 11 draws closer, fans are slowly but surely getting some clues by the management and its plans for the league’s entry into a new era.One of the biggest mysteries right now is the window in which PSL will be held next year. With the T20 World Cup scheduled for February and March, traditionally PSL’s preferred slot, speculation is growing that PSL 11 might once again be pushed to April/May, just like this year when the schedule had to shift to accommodate the ICC Champions Trophy. But despite all the buzz and rumours, PSL CEO Salman Naseer has confirmed that the league’s official window hasn’t been decided yet.Speaking to reporters during a press conference where he also revealed PSL’s title sponsor for the upcoming seasons, Naseer clarified that scheduling discussions are still pending and will only happen once all stakeholders — including the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and franchise owners — sit down to finalize the dates.“We haven’t decided the PSL window yet,” said Naseer. “We haven’t sat with the stakeholders; once we do, we’ll make the decision.”Franchise owners, meanwhile, are pushing for an early call so they can start planning recruitment, logistics, and player availability, especially with several top international stars expected to feature in next season’s draft. The final decision on the PSL 2026 window is expected soon, especially now that administrative processes are finally in motion.
