The next time the Men in Blue will take the field will on 10th September at the Dubai International Stadium against the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in their opening game of the 2026 Asia Cup.For those unversed, India were set to tour Bangladesh in August for three ODIs as many T20Is but the tour was postponed till September 2026.It was rumoured that the the Asian Giants will tour Sri Lanka for an ODI and T02I series instead but a report by Times of India has revealed that the BCCI have decided to give a 'complete rest' to the players and will not play any cricket in this period. The published information reveals that the players requested for break ahead of a hectic international season over the few months.Post the Asia Cup, India will host West Indies for two Test matches before going to Australia for a white-ball tour. Later, South Africa will visit India for an all-format tour before the Men in Blue host New Zealand for an ODI and T20I series before the 2026 t20 World Cup.eAs far as Rohit and Virat are concerned, they remain active international players only in ODI cricket and will be next seen in action on 19th October against Australia in Perth.The legendary duo last played for India on 9th March in the 2025 Champions Trophy final.
