He looked to have plenty of potential during his time at Atalanta and a return to Serie A could allow him to rediscover his best form following a barren spell in Manchester.Hojlund's profile as an Inter target is 'advancing', reports Calciomercato, which is partly due to the healthy relationship his agents have struck up with the hierarchy at the San Siro. Despite struggling for goals the Italian side remain keen as they eye a rebuild. The same news outlet claims that the 22-year-old is unhappy on the red half of Manchester and is looking to find a new environment this summer. Inter believe, due to his major decline since moving to England, that they can secure his services in a cut-price deal.Hojlund's struggles have been well documented since he arrived at the beginning of last season. The summer signing needed until Boxing Day before he scored his first Premier League goal. This term his numbers have again dropped, scoring just 10 times - with only four coming in the leagueConcerns were raised over Hojlund's suitability to lead the line at such a tender age whilst he still had to prove himself.
