For those unversed, Speed is a die-hard fan of Cristiano Ronaldo and has proclaimed his love for him on his streams as well. However, he has also shared his admiration for Messi in the past.

IShowSpeed shares his honest reaction to Messi’s Adidas World Cup 2026 ad. In a clip shared by IShowSpeedHQ on X (formerly Twitter), Speed reacted warmly to the FIFA 2026 campaign. As the video begins, the 20-year-old exclaims, “Is that Lamine Yamal? What the hell is Lamine doing?”

Speed’s eyes are glued to the screen as groovy music kicks in. At the 20-second mark, fans can see a glimpse of Messi’s iconic number 10. The streamer realizes it’s Messi and remarks, “Oh my God.” Speed’s eyes light up as he watches the Argentine football legend walk in slow motion.

The streamer shouts in excitement, “Messi,” as soon as Inter Miami CF’s face is revealed on camera. As if in a state of disbelief, he exclaims Messi’s name again. The 20-year-old watches in awe as the Argentine football star kicks the ball flawlessly. Speed’s surprised facial expressions find words when he screams, “What,” in a mix of surprise and excitement.

In the end, the streamer cheekily remarks, “I can do that too. I can do that too, bro.” Notably, at the time when Speed filmed his reaction, he had 45,867 users tuning into his stream and a mammoth 45,673,391 live comments.

IShowSpeed encountered Messi in person in June this year. Messi was playing the second game of the FIFA Club World Cup between Inter Miami and Al Ahly at Hard Rock Stadium. Speed watched in awe as Messi walked out of the dressing room. However, his expression quickly changed to shock when Messi overlooked the popular Twitch streamer and walked past him.

Messi shook hands with Pepe and Youri Djorkaeff but seemingly did not acknowledge Speed. Fans weren’t surprised, considering Speed is a self-proclaimed Ronaldo fan. Hence, fans shared sharp reactions to Messi seemingly ignoring Speed.

One fan commented, “Speed should stay on the ground. Why is he expecting everyone to give him importance?” Another fan cheekily wrote, “No, it was messy.”
