It’s winner takes all at the LaLiga Madrid Derby Fan Fest

Diski Ya Rona will meet fútbol arte in Soshanguve, Pretoria as LaLiga, together with partners Shaka Sports, SportyBet, and SuperSport, roll out an unforgettable football experience at Shaka Stadium on 27 September 2025 ahead of the first blockbuster fixture of the LaLiga season: Atletico de Madrid v Real Madrid.

Featuring four (4) heavyweights of Mzansi Kasi Football namely Skepe Nketole FC, Cry Eleven FC, Rinkase Best XI FC and Mudagasi FC; the day will feature a community-style knockout tournament for the ages ahead of the Madrid Derby live screening, bringing together local fans, media, and partners for a high-energy, not-to-be-missed event.

With a winner-takes-all R100 000 cash prize courtesy of Shaka Sports on the line, expect plenty of tsamayas and vula vala’s as the teams vie for supremacy in the first LaLiga watch party of the 2025/26 season.

The final will be followed by a live screening of the biggest football match in the world on the day — Atletico de Madrid v Real Madrid — broadcast on SuperSport Channel 204 and featuring superstars such as Kylian Mbappé, Antoine Griezmann, Vini Jr, and Julián Álvarez.

The day, held in conjunction on with Shaka Sports, will feature action off the pitch including fan engagement giveaways, with SportyBet-branded merchandise adding to the excitement and fan pride.

A halftime performance by rapper 25Kwill also elevate the experience for attendees.

Madrid Derby Kick-Off: 4:15pm

Player awards to be handed out to the players will include the MVP, Top Goalkeeper and the Pichichi

(Top Goal Scorer).
