Three key Cats have put pen to paper and have signed on with the club for multiple yearsGeelong Cats stars Jeremy Cameron, Ollie Henry and Shannon Neale have put pen to paper, with the trio signing multi-year contract extensions to stay at the Club.Cameron and Henry have both signed two-year extensions, keeping them in Hoops until at least the end of 2027, while Shannon Neale has signed a three-year extension, which will see him remain at GMHBA Stadium until at least the end of 2028.Cameron joined Geelong ahead of the 2021 AFL season after an impressive nine-year stint with GWS Giants and has now played 84 games in the Hoops.A four-time All-Australian and 2022 Premiership player, Cameron kicked his 650th career goal in Saturday’s win over Fremantle.Henry joined Geelong via a trade with Collingwood ahead of the 2023 season and has played 46 of his 71 AFL games in the Hoops, booting 41 goals in his debut season at GMHBA Stadium, and following up with 37 in 2024.A dynamic presence in the forward line, Henry’s high-flying ability in the air and his ability to get creative in front of goal have made him a valuable asset in Geelong’s attacking half.Neale, originally from Western Australia and selected with pick 33 in the 2020 National Draft, played 15 games last year after making five appearances across his first three seasons at the Club as he honed his craft, and has played every game since Round 16 last year. The 22-year-old key forward/ruck has made his presence felt, with his strong marking, athleticism, and scoreboard impact – both direct scores and assists – key features of his game.Geelong Cats Executive General Manager – Football Andrew Mackie said the Club was pleased to see the three forwards sign on.“We’re really thrilled Jeremy, Ollie and Shannon are extending their stays at the Club, all three guys are an important part of our team and are quality Geelong people off-field as well,” Mackie said.“All three are fantastic players in their own right, however importantly are also committed to team success and working cohesively as part of our forward structure.“Jeremy has been a significant addition since joining our Club four years ago and still has plenty of great football ahead of him, while we also look forward to seeing Ollie and Shannon continue to develop their games and are excited by what they have already shown they are capable of.”Celebrate the re-signing news and cheer on the Cats when they take on St Kilda on Saturday at Marvel Stadium with 36% off Flexi 6 Memberships.
