MELBOURNE speedster Caleb Windsor will miss the final two weeks of the season after tearing his hamstring against the Bulldogs.Windsor will finish his second AFL campaign with 17 matches to his name after 19 in his debut season.01:50“Unfortunately for Caleb, he went to kick the ball and felt some pain in his left hamstring,” Melbourne’s High-Performance Manager Selwyn Griffith said.“Scans have shown that he's got a high grade hamstring strain, so we'll work with Caleb now to make sure that he's right tracking into the offseason and look to set him up for a really strong return for the 2026 season.”>> SCROLL DOWN FOR FULL INJURY LISTFellow young gun Xavier Lindsay is also sidelined with a hamstring complaint.“Xavier, who we managed in last week's game, just presented to training with some hamstring soreness,” Griffith said.“Unfortunately, just as we've tried to build him back up to be ready for the game, we're just going to run out of time this week just with the shorter turnaround.“We will be hoping to have him to be ready for Round 24.”Veteran defender Jake Lever has officially been ruled out for the remainder of 2025 as he ramps up his ankle recovery.“As mentioned last week, Jake has progressed well,” Griffith said.“He had another good week on the track and has progressed into some agility.“Unfortunately, we're just going to run out of time to have him available to play senior football this year."But he's tracking really well and we'll look to set him up for a really strong off-season to see him back for the 2026 season.”Oliver Sestan looks set to return in time for the VFL finals after a rough run with hamstring and facial injuries.“Sesto is progressing really well,” Griffith said.“The fortunate thing with the facial fracture was that he was able to get back to running really quickly.“He's put in a ton of work with some of his conditioning and skill work, we've obviously had to modify some of his contact, but he's been doing that in a controlled environment and going really well with that.“We're excited for him to return to full contact next week, which we'll see him available for the VFL final series.”Marty Hore (knee/shoulder), Andy Moniz-Wakefield (knee) and Shane McAdam (Achilles) remain sidelined with their respective injuries.
