Georgina Rodriguez sparks Cristiano Ronaldo marriage rumours with latest Instagram post

Georgina Rodriguez has showcased a stunning ring on Instagram amid ongoing speculation she and Cristiano Ronaldo will get married.

The couple have been together since 2016, and share two daughters, Alana and Bella, while Rodriguez is also stepmother to the football icon's three other children, but they have yet to tie the knot.

However, Ronaldo's partner has now reignited rumours that they could be set to marry by posting a picture of a massive rectangular jewel on her left ring finger on her Instagram story.

Alongside this, the 31-year-old wrote the caption: "And keep evil away from us, Amen," in Arabic.

Rodriguez also appears to have the same words tattooed on her hand, which is also on display in the post.

Despite what appeared to be a huge hint, the couple recently revealed they are not officially married.

In her Netflix reality show 'I am Georgina', Rodriguez addressed talk surrounding their relationship, and revealed her friends often tease her about when they will finally wed.

The model said: "They're always joking about the wedding: 'When is the wedding?'

"Since Jennifer Lopez's song 'The Ring Or When' came out, they started singing it to me. And well, this is not up to me."

Ronaldo then explained that he was the reason behind this, revealing that he was waiting for the perfect moment.

He said on the same show: "I always tell her: 'When we get that click.' Like everything with our life, and she knows what I'm talking about.

"It could be in a year or it could be in six months or it could be in a month. I'm 1,000 per cent sure that it'll happen."

Despite this, the Al Nassr star has previously appeared to hint that he and Rodriguez had tied the knot.

At the 2024 Globe Soccer Awards in December, Ronaldo referred to her as his 'wife' in his acceptance speech.

This only added fuel to the earlier rumours he sparked in a game of Mr and Mrs on his YouTube channel last summer, when he introduced Rodriguez under the same title.

The celebrity couple first met in Spain in 2016, during the Portugal captain's eight-year spell at Real Madrid.

At the time, Rodriguez was working as a sales assistant, and she has previously opened up on how their love story blossomed in the early days.

In a 2019 interview with The Sun, she shared: "Our first meeting was at Gucci.

"Days later, we saw each other again at another brand's event. It was then that we could talk in a relaxed atmosphere, outside my work environment. It was love at first sight for both."

Since the couple went public with their relationship in 2017, Rodriguez has become a celebrity in her own right.

The Argentina-born Spaniard has forged a modelling career of her own, and attended the Paris Fashion Week in March, stepping out for the Ludovic de Saint Sernin Fall RTW 2025 fashion show.

Meanwhile, her other half has been just as busy juggling his football career with business ventures.

Ronaldo has netted eight goals in his last seven games for club and country, and also recently revealed he will be featuring as a character in a new street fighter style game Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves.
