Following the conclusion of the 2025 season, the West Coast Eagles have confirmed changes to their AFL coaching structure.Assistant coach Jarrad Schofield will depart the Club alongside ruck coach Ryan Turnbull, who has stepped away due to increasing work and family commitments.Schofield has spent the past four seasons at West Coast, initially overseeing strategy and stoppages, before coaching the midfield for the past two years.He also stepped up admirably to lead the team as interim senior coach for the final seven matches of the 2024 campaign.“I want to personally thank the playing group, staff and fans for all their support,” Schofield said.“I am very grateful to have had the opportunity to develop and further my coaching over the past four years.“I wish the players all the best for the future and look forward to my next chapter.”Turnbull has worked with outstanding dedication across the West Coast’s AFL and WAFL programs in recent years, and was part of the inaugural AFLW coaching staff.“We would like to thank Jarrad and Ryan for their commitment to our Club during their respective tenures on our coaching panel,” Head of Football John Worsfold said today.“Both are former players who returned to the Club and have given their utmost effort and dedication to developing our players and improving our team.“We are working through our coaching structure for next season and will communicate any further updates to our members and fans in due course.”
