KL Rahul and B Sai Sudharsan laid the foundation for a mammoth 412-run pursuit, helping the host clinch the two-match ‘unofficial’ Test series against Australia A 1-0 at the BRSABV Ekana Cricket Stadium.

An incredible win for India A. The home team has bounced back from conceding a 226-run lead to finishing off the game with five wickets more than a session to spare.

KL Rahul led the charge with a masterful unbeaten 176 and was ably supported by Sai Sudharsan, who too notched up a hundred. This is now only the sixth time a 400+ total has been chased down in a FC game in India. Monumental effort.

This has been a splendid run chase by India-A. Two beautifully constructed innings by Rahul and Sudharsan. The ball did turn, there was slowness, but conditions didn’t go extreme.

Sahil: Rahul survives a caught & bowled chance as Murphy drops a return catch. Wanted to place the ball towards long on but ended up chipping it. Murphy couldn’t hold on to it.

Indian opening batter KL Rahul scored a masterful hundred for India A in its 412-run chase against Australia in the second unofficial Test in Lucknow on Friday.

Cooper Connolly drops it short and Sudharsan pulls the ball towards square leg for four. Now Sudharsan applies a reverse sweep vs Rocchiccioli and it’s placed very fine between first slip and wide short third. Brilliant shot.

India A continues to chip away at the target. KL Rahul is closing in on a well-deserved hundred.
