The identity of the man accused of racially abusing Bournemouth's Antoine Semenyo during their Premier League opener against Liverpool has been revealed. The opening night of the new season was overshadowed by a dark cloud after reports emerged that Semenyo had been abused from the stands, with an individual being removed from Anfield as the 25-year-old incredibly went on to score two goals in the second half.An account of what happened was later given by another fan who witnessed the events unfold, with it subsequently being revealed that a man had been arrested and hit with a stadium ban. Now, the identity of the individual has come to light.Semenyo Abuser RevealedAccording to a report from the Daily Mail, the man in question is 47-year-old Mark Mogan, who was escorted out of the stadium by the police and arrested and stewards and other eyewitnesses pointed him out as the culprit.Mogan, a lifelong Liverpool supporter and season ticket holder, resides in a council-owned bungalow in Liverpool alongside his mother. He has used a wheelchair since birth due to a medical condition and relies on disability support.Social media posts feature him actively involved in wheelchair basketball, representing a team known as the Greenbank Meteors. Other photos capture moments of him meeting former Liverpool stars, including Robbie Fowler and Emile Heskey.Merseyside Police have also confirmed that Mogan has been released on bail following his arrest:"We can confirm that a man has been conditionally bailed after he was arrested following reports that racist abuse was directed towards Bournemouth player Antoine Semenyo."A 47-year-old man from Liverpool was arrested on Saturday August 16 on suspicion of a racially aggravated public order offence. He has now been bailed with conditions, which includes not to attend any regulated football match in the UK and not to go within one mile of a designated football stadium."An investigation into the incident, which occurred during a Premier League match between Liverpool and Bournemouth at Anfield on Friday August 15, remains ongoing and we continue to work closely with the club."In the 29th minute of the match, Semenyo went to take a throw-in when TV cameras appeared to capture an interaction between him and a fan in the disabled section. The individual, who was in a wheelchair, moved toward Semenyo an engaged in an aggressive nature with the player.Semenyo, reported the incident to referee Anthony Taylor. The match was briefly paused as both managers and team captains were called over for discussions.At half-time, a stadium announcement condemned racist abuse, and social media images later showed a man in a wheelchair, now confirmed to be Mogan, being escorted from the stadium
