Alejandro Garnacho has broken his silence after he made a costly error on his Chelsea debut. The Argentine winger came off the bench with 11 minutes to play at Brentford to make his first appearance for Enzo Maresca's side.Garnacho joined Chelsea from Manchester United for £40m this summer after United boss Ruben Amorim told him to find a new club this summer. And it looked like he made the perfect start to life in blue.He picked up the ball on the edge of the box and drove towards the touchline, before aiming a cutback at Cole Palmer. The pass was intercepted, but it dropped to Moises Caicedo, who was waiting outside the box to fire Chelsea in front with just five minutes left to play. But Chelsea could not hold on at the G Tech Community Stadium.Brentford launched a long throw into the box, it was flicked on at the near post and Fabio Carvalho was left unmarked at the back post to tap home.Carvalho had slipped away from his marker Garnacho to rescue a late point for the Bees.It was a costly mistake for Chelsea, who remain unbeaten and sit fifth in the table with eight points from the first four games. After the game, Garnacho took to Instagram to speak about his debut, although he did not take the blame for Brentford's late equaliser. He wrote: "Very happy to wear this shirt for the first time. See you Wednesday in UCL."Thanks for the support blues."Will Alejandro Garnacho start for Chelsea?Chelsea are stacked with attacking options, so breaking into the first 11 could be difficult.Jamie Gittens started in Garnacho's preferred left wing spot on Saturday, but he failed to impress. Pedro Neto was a constant threat on the right wing and has started every game this season.Cole Palmer is returning to fitness and remains a nailed starter, while Joao Pedro has made an impressive start at Stamford Bridge since moving from Brighton.Facundo Buonanotte, who has joined on loan from Leicester, played the first half at Brentford, but struggled to make an impact, with youngster Tyrique George coming on in his place.Although Chelsea have several options, they do have Champions League football, so chances will arise for Garnacho. They have a difficult week coming up with a trip to Bayern Munich followed by a visit to Old Trafford, which means a return for the young Argentinian.
