High Performance Manager Mat Inness provides an update on West Coast’s injured players

Exciting youngster Tyrell Dewar is available to face Port Adelaide after recovering from a hamstring injury that sidelined him in recent weeks.

Dewar, the round 14 Rising Star nominee, has missed the past two matches against Collingwood and Greater Western Sydney.

“Tyrell was close to playing last week, but we took a conservative approach and gave him the extra time to fully recover,” High Performance Manager Mat Inness said.

“He’s trained strongly and will be available for selection.”

In less positive news, Elliot Yeo has had a setback in his bid to return to football from an ankle injury.

“Unfortunately, Elliot didn’t cope as well as expected when integrating back into group drills last week, so we’ve had to take him back a step,” Inness said.

“We will gather more information this week and update once we have further information.”
