Sky Sports Drop Graham Potter Sack Update at West Ham as Sullivan Target Emerges

West Ham United boss Graham Potter is under some real growing pressure at the London Stadium after yet another loss in the Premier League, this time to Crystal Palace - and reports have suggested that the board have now started to 'consider all of their options' to avoid the notion of a relegation to the Championship after 13 years in the top-flight in the capital.

The report by Sky Sports reporter Kaveh Solhekol on X (formerly Twitter) states that the West Ham board are 'considering all of their options' after another defeat for Potter on Saturday. They wanted a reaction from Potter's men, but despite an improved performance, they lost yet again.

The board had a target of at least four points in mind from their three games before the international break, against Palace, Everton and Arsenal - and so a loss at the Hill Dickinson Stadium would mean a maximum of three points, which even then would be a tough ask against the Gunners.

It's now difficult to see how that target could be achieved, but no decision has been made about Potter's future in east London just yet, giving him more time to impress. The former Chelsea gaffer signed a two-and-a-half-year deal when he replaced Julen Lopetegui nine months ago, and such a contract at the Irons would have a break clause after 18 months.

Nuno Espírito Santo and Slaven Bilic are being considered, in case the decision is made to make a change - though they haven't been contacted just yet.

GIVEMESPORT Key Statistic: Graham Potter has six wins in 25 games for West Ham.

Potter, should he lose West Ham's next two games away from home, will have overseen a points tally of just three points in seven games and that could be enough for the club's chiefs to relieve him of his duties. A shocking start to the campaign saw them go 3-0 down to Sunderland on the opening day of the campaign, which was followed up by a 5-1 loss to Chelsea at home, prompting real warning signs in east London.

That was then counteracted with a surprise 3-0 win over Nottingham Forest away from home, with the club looking to have turned a corner after three games - though two consecutive home losses to London duo Tottenham Hotspur and Palace have seen Potter's men occupy 19th in the table. They're already four points adrift of the top-half, six points away from European football and even a point inside the relegation zone.
