Danielle Collins teases Carlos Alcaraz after Emma Raducanu exit at U.S. Open

Tennis star Danielle Collins, known for her controversial style, teased Carlos Alcaraz while sending a message to 2021 U.S. Open champion Emma Raducanu.

Alcaraz and Raducanu teamed up for the U.S. Open mixed doubles earlier this week but were defeated by Jack Draper and Jessica Pegula in their first match.

The mixed doubles event at Flushing Meadows was restructured this year to draw in the top singles players, even being labeled as an "exhibition" due to the modifications. A prize pool of $1M was available, with Sara Errani and Andrea Vavassori successfully defending their title from last year.

After Alcaraz and Raducanu's exit from the tournament, Raducanu took to Instagram, writing: "Crazy! ! @carlitosalcarazz. "Thank you partner, had so much fun. "Alcaraz, who claimed his only U.S. Open singles title in 2022, responded: "Still waiting for those Spanish words.

Thank you partner. "Collins chimed in with a playful remark, writing: "Way to carry the team Em!"
