Emma Raducanu has been granted some relief from the All England Club, as her persistent stalker has been barred from securing tickets to Wimbledon.

The British sensation sought refuge in tears behind the umpire's chair at the Dubai Championships back in February, which ended with a "fixated" individual being ejected from the venue. This unnerving scene marked the fourth event in a row—following appearances in Singapore, Abu Dhabi, and Doha—where the South American man was spotted spectating. The day before, he even confronted Raducanu in a coffee shop.

After the Dubai incident, he received a restraining order from local police, and his details were distributed to tennis tournaments globally. Taking proactive measures, the Wimbledon organizers identified his name during a check of their public ballot following the unpleasant encounter and have since eliminated his entry.

Although the ballot for Wimbledon concluded last year, there's still a chance for ticket redistribution from resales right up until the launch of The Championships on June 30.

In 2021, Raducanu, who claimed the US Open title, faced another disturbing situation when an overzealous admirer got a five-year restraining order after making unsolicited visits to her home in Bromley and pilfering belongings. Just last week, she acknowledged that these incidents have left her feeling "wary" whenever she steps out.

Addressing the matter at the Spring Conference recently, Sally Bolton, CEO of the All England Club, committed to ramping up security measures in response to these incidents.

Moreover, Britain's second-highest-ranked female player Katie Boulter has disclosed her own unsettling experiences, including receiving threatening messages online and being shadowed by an unidentified car while in London.

Bolton has emphasized the importance of player safety, stating: "The safety and wellbeing of all of the players is our absolute top priority. I think the recent incidents coming to light certainly recognize the concern generated by that.

"But we have in place - and have had for many years - processes for ensuring the safety of our players. And that is in liaison with law enforcement agencies, specialist security teams and we liaise with both tours. And that is year round not just in preparation for The Championships.

"We are putting in place measures that are reflective of the threat and risk profile at the time. It is absolutely a top priority for us.

"We probably wouldn't at this point comment on any details in respect of any individual athlete but that intelligence is being gathered working with those other parties throughout the year to make sure we have got the right measures in place come The Championships."
