Former Everton manager Sean Dyche's stance amid West Brom and Leicester City managerial searches

Everton are now three months on from their decision to move on from Sean Dyche, and they have not looked back.

Openings are beginning to emerge within the Championship with West Brom and Norwich City having recently sacked their managers.

Fortunately, Everton have avoided the drop down to the Championship, but the likes of Leicester City find themselves questioning their managerial situation ahead of next season.

Since being sacked, Dyche has admitted Everton were right after he has witnessed what David Moyes has been able to do with the same squad.

With changes being made in the Championship, Dyche has been linked with West Brom as their potential replacement for Tony Mowbray.

Speaking to Everton News, TBR Football’s Chief Correspondent Graeme Bailey has shared his understanding on Dyche’s options.

Whether former Everton boss Sean Dyche could join West Brom or Leicester City

Dyche has received plenty of Everton criticism since he was sacked by the Friedkins, with his man-management taking a real beating.

The 53-year-old looks set for a lengthy wait to find his next role as Bailey claims he has not heard Dyche’s name mentioned in West Brom, Norwich City or Leicester’s managerial searches.

“Not from what I’m hearing, but I haven’t heard his name come up with many of the Championship sides, to be fair. It doesn’t mean they’re not in for him,” he said.

Leicester have not yet sacked Ruud van Nistelrooy, but the Foxes find themselves already relegated following a dismal season which the Dutchman has been unable to turn around.

“I’d be surprised if Leicester moved for him. I don’t think he’s got an awful lot of suitors at the moment, but things can change,” Bailey added.

Micah Richards thinks Dyche would’ve kept Everton up this season, but that could have been down to how poor the other clubs have been.

And it seems the first half of the season struggles on Merseyside are limiting the 53-year-olds potential future options ahead of the summer.

David Moyes has already embarrassed Dyche’s Everton record

Controversially, Dyche claimed Everton’s players couldn’t handle the pressure of playing for a club the size of Everton.

It just capped off what was a timely parting of ways between the two parties as Dyche ran his course on Merseyside.

Just weeks after Moyes returned to the club, the 61-year-old had already trumped the mere three wins Dyche secured in the league this season.

Moyes has silenced a lot of doubters after being appointed by Everton, and he has only put further scrutiny on the work done by Dyche at Goodison.
