The Indian cricket team will play their first white-ball assignment since winning the 2025 Champions Trophy in August after returning from England after a marquee five-match Test series. The Board of Control for India (BCCI) confirmed the schedule for the trip across the border on Tuesday (April 15).

The tour will see India play a three-match ODI series and as many T20Is from 17th to 31st August across two venues. Rohit Sharma remains India's ODI captain and is likely to lead the side unless senior players are rested after the hectic trip to England. Suryakumar Yadav will continue leading the T20I side.

Later, India will host the West Indies for a two-match Test series from Ocotber 2 to 14 before the team travels to Australia fora three ODIs and five T20Is from October 19 to November 8. A few days later South Africa will visit to play two Tests, three ODIs, and five T20Is from November 14 to December 19.
