In fact, he needed 44 minutes to do so while saving all eight break points.Tarvet immediately broke Alcaraz in the second set, gaining momentum with the support of the home crowd.However, the Spaniard remained unfazed, retaliating with a break to love before ultimately seizing the set.Alcaraz broke again early in the third set, but Tarvet returned the favor right away.Just as he did a set before, Alcaraz quickly put it behind him and broke Tarvet right back to love, taking a stranglehold on the third set.The No. 2 seed was far better on Wednesday than he was against Fabio Fognini in his first-round matchup.His first serve percentage was up seven percent, and he delivered a much more consistent effort, committing 29 unforced errors compared to 62 in his first-round match.
