Even though they kind of capitulated at the end, I think they showed everyone that day that they’re here to play, and their win over Hull City in midweek gives them a bit of momentum going into this one.“West Brom will be nervy coming to the Racecourse. They won’t want to be made an example of and I think that caginess will play right into Wrexham hands. Without being overly-optimistic, I think the Dragons could have a bit of fun here and get all three points. I’ll say 2-1 Wrexham.”Jakob Barnes – Wrexham 2-0 West Brom“Wrexham have surprised everyone (me included) so far this season in how they’ve been able to compete with strong Championship teams and I think that spirit will culminate in a win this weekend.MORE WREXHAM STORIES“West Brom are still finding their feet under Ryan Mason and suffered a crushing defeat in midweek, while Wrexham now have some momentum after beating Hull City. The Racecourse will be absolutely buzzing, the world will be watching on TV, and the Red Dragons will put on a show.”Photo by Dan Mullan/Getty ImagesGeorge Light – Wrexham 2-0 West Brom“This game reminds me of the Charlton victory to secure promotion at the end of last season. The ground will be shaking and I feel a fast start from Wrexham will be too much for West Brom to handle.“I was so impressed with Wrexham’s defensive structure last weekend and of course, new signings Lewis O’Brien and Josh Windass caught the eye. I’m going for Windass to shine and get on the scoresheet once again.”Lewis Railton – Wrexham 0-2 West Brom“I would expect Wrexham to struggle following the loss of Kieffer Moore to injury. Whilst we saw Josh Windass’ quality in the Championship opener against Southampton, we are still yet to see a top-level showing from Ryan Hardie.“He will likely replace the injured Welshman, unless Phil Parkinson rushes Nathan Broadhead into a start. Wrexham are still getting to grips with the Championship, and a rejuvenated West Brom side under Ryan Mason may be too much to handle at this early stage.“Ultimately, it depends on Parkinson’s team selection, as the potential inclusion of Broadhead could spring a few surprises in favour of Wrexham, but a defeat would be the more likely outcome.”Photo by Dan Mullan/Getty ImagesJosh Barker – Wrexham 0-1 West Brom“Wrexham gave a great account of themselves in their opening Championship fixture but as expected, Southampton’s quality squad depth proved too much.“West Brom are not as strong as the Saints but I think losing Kieffer Moore, who had a pivotal role in nearly everything positive last weekend, to injury is going to really hamper Wrexham against the Baggies.“Phil Parkinson doesn’t have a like-for-like replacement in his squad unless he wants to start Ollie Palmer, which seems unlikely. So, I think West Brom will just about edge it.”
