Coco Gauff will look to conclude the 2025 season in style with another triumph at the 2025 WTA Finals (1-8 November).

The USA tennis star is one of eight singles players competing in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, which hosts the year-end finals for the second consecutive year. It is the middle year of a three-year hosting cycle for the Middle Eastern city.

Gauff returns as the defending champion from 2024, when she defeated Olympic gold medallist Zheng Qinwen in a three-set thriller, 3–6, 6–4, 7–6(2).

Fast forward 12 months, and the 21-year-old has since added another Grand Slam title with Roland-Garros going into her fourth WTA Finals appearance. No one has won the year-end trophy back-to-back since Serena Williams in 2014 – can Gauff follow in her footsteps?

Gauff is in the statistically tougher group of the two (average player ranking of 4.25 versus 4.75 in the other group), which sees her take on world No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka for the third time this season, the first meeting since the French Open final in June.

The top-ranked U.S. player also meets compatriot Jessica Pegula, whom she beat as recently as the Wuhan Open final last month. Olympic doubles gold medallist Jasmine Paolini rounds off the Stefanie Graf Group, with their head-to-head record even at 3-3.

Here is how to follow world No. 3 Gauff at this year’s WTA Finals.
