10.15pm: Chelsea’s Chilwell moves to Strasbourg

Former Chelsea captain Ben Chilwell has joined Ligue 1 side Strasbourg, who share the same BlueCo ownership as the London club, on a two-year deal.

The 28-year-old was frozen out by manager Enzo Maresca after he took charge last season and the full back moved to Crystal Palace on loan during the mid-season transfer window.

Chilwell helped Leicester City claim the Premier League title in 2016 before joining Chelsea, with whom he lifted the Champions League trophy in 2021.

9.30pm: Liverpool sign Isak for British record fee

Liverpool have signed Alexander Isak from Newcastle United on a long-term contract, ending a transfer saga that left the Swedish striker frozen out of the squad when the season began.

Financial details were not disclosed by Liverpool but Newcastle confirmed the 25-year-old was sold in a British record deal, with local media reporting the fee at £125 million (S$217.3 million) after an earlier £110 million bid was rejected in August.

9.05pm: Newcastle sign Wissa from Brentford

Newcastle have signed DR Congo forward Yoane Wissa from Brentford in a deal worth an initial £50 million plus £5 million in add-ons, as a replacement for Alexander Isak.

9.05pm: Man United sign Lammens from Royal Antwerp

Manchester United have signed Belgian goalkeeper Senne Lammens from Royal Antwerp on a five-year contract for €21 million (S$31.6 million) plus add-ons.

9pm: Villa sign winger Elliott on loan from Liverpool

Harvey Elliott will spend the rest of the season on loan at Aston Villa from Liverpool. The 22-year-old joined Liverpool in 2019 and has made 149 appearances, scoring 17 goals.

8.30pm: Villa get Sancho on loan from United

Winger Jadon Sancho has joined Aston Villa on a season-long loan from Manchester United after spending last season in a loan deal at Chelsea.

Villa will cover 80 per cent of Sancho's wages and pay a loan fee, while United hold an option to extend his contract by another year beyond its current expiry in 2026.

The 25-year-old was signed by United for £73 million from Borussia Dortmund in 2021. Sancho joined Chelsea on deadline day of the previous close-season transfer window. He scored five goals with 10 assists from 41 appearances.

8.28pm: Sunderland land Brobbery from Ajax

Sunderland have signed Ajax Amsterdam striker Brian Brobbey for a fee of around £17 million. The 23-year-old Dutchman is the Premier League 14th signing of the close season, taking the promoted club's spending close to £160 million.

8.15pm: Everton sign Rohl on loan from Freiburg

Everton have landed their ninth signing of the transfer window by bringing in midfielder Merlin Rohl on a season-long loan from Bundesliga side Freiburg.

The 23-year-old's contract with the Merseyside club includes an obligation to buy in 2026 for a reported fee of €20 million.

7.54pm: Forest sign defender Cuiabano from Botafogo

Nottingham Forest have bought Brazilian left back Cuiabano from Botafogo on a four-year deal, their fourth signing from the Brazilian club in this window.

7.35pm: Milan swoop for Odogu from Wolfsburg

Milan have signed German defender David Uyoyo Odogu from VfL Wolfsburg. The 19-year-old youth international has signed a contract until June 2029 with an option to extend for a further year.

7.35pm: Fulham sign winger Chukwueze on loan from Milan

Fulham have signed Nigeria forward Samuel Chukwueze on loan from AC Milan, with an option to make the deal permanent.

7.31pm: Juve sign winger Zhegrova from Lille

Juventus have signed Kosovo winger Edon Zhegrova from French side Lille for €14.3 million plus €1.2 million in add-ons. The 26-year-old has agreed a contract until 2030, the Serie A club said.

7.25PM: Inter bring in Akanji from Man City on loan

Inter Milan have signed Swiss defender Manuel Akanji from Premier League side Manchester City on a season-long loan, according to Serie A records on their official website.

7.15pm: Juve take Openda from RB Leipzig on loan

Juventus have signed Belgian forward Lois Openda from Bundesliga side RB Leipzig on a season-long loan, according to Serie A records on their official website.

7.10pm: Rangers land Chermiti from Everton

Rangers have completed the signing of 21-year-old forward Youssef Chermiti from Everton, with the Portugal youth international penning a four-year deal with the Glasgow club.

7.10pm: Porto sign Kiwior on loan from Arsenal

Jakub Kiwior has joined Porto on a season-long loan from Arsenal. The 25-year-old Poland defender moved to north London from Italian side Spezia in 2023 and has since made 68 appearances with three goals and five assists.

7pm: Spurs bring in Kolo Muani on loan from PSG

France forward Randal Kolo Muani has joined Tottenham Hotspur on a season-long loan from Paris Saint-Germain. The 26-year-old will wear the No. 39 shirt.

"I'm really happy and very proud to be at such a great club. I can't wait to meet my teammates, all the fans and to get out on the pitch," Kolo Muani said.

"I know what the coach (Thomas Frank) expects from me. I will fight hard for the shirt, the club and the fans. I will give everything for this team."

6.50pm: Arsenal sign Hincapie on loan from Leverkusen

Arsenal have signed Ecuador defender Piero Hincapie on loan from Bayer Leverkusen with an option to make the deal permanent.

The London club described Hincapie as the "final piece of the puzzle" in a busy transfer window that saw them bring in seven new players.

6.30pm: Al Hilal add Turkey defender Akcicek

Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal have signed 19-year-old Turkey defender Yusuf Akcicek from Fenerbahce on a four-year contract.

6.20pm: Soler moves to Real Sociedad from PSG

Midfielder Carlos Soler has left Paris Saint-Germain to join LaLiga side Real Sociedad on a four-year deal, with an option to extend for a further season.

6.15pm: Belotti signs for Cagliari after Como and Benfica spells

Italian forward Andrea Belotti has joined Cagliari on a permanent deal after spending last season with Como and also featuring on loan at Benfica, Serie A confirmed.

6.10pm: Palace sign defender Canvot from Toulouse

Crystal Palace have brought in 19-year-old French defender Jaydee Canvot from Ligue 1 side Toulouse in a deal worth £20.8 million.

6.06pm: AC Milan bring in Rabiot from Marseille

AC Milan have signed France midfielder Adrien Rabiot from Olympique Marseille two weeks after he was put on the transfer list following a dressing room altercation with a teammate.

5.45pm: Werder Bremen sign Boniface on loan from Leverkusen

Nigeria striker Victor Boniface has joined Werder Bremen on a one-year loan, fellow Bundesliga club Bayer Leverkusen said on Sept 1. The 24-year-old moved to Leverkusen from Belgian side Union Saint-Gilloise in January 2023.

5.45pm: Burnley secure Luis on loan from Benfica

Midfielder Florentino Luis has joined promoted Premier League club Burnley on a season-long loan from Benfica, with an option to make the deal permanent next summer.

5.45pm: Real Betis buy winger Anthony from Man United

Real Betis have signed Brazilian winger Antony from Manchester United on a deal worth €25 million.

5.32pm: Asensio seals switch to Fenerbahce

Spain international Marco Asensio has sealed a permanent transfer from PSG to Turkish club Fenerbahce on a three-year deal with another year option available.

5.30pm: Edouard leaves Palace for Lens

French striker Odsonne Edouard has left Crystal Palace to join Ligue 1 side RC Lens on a three-year contract.

5.28pm: Hojlund completes loan move to Napoli

Denmark striker Rasmus Hojlund has joined Napoli from Manchester United on a loan deal with an option to buy.

5pm: Lille sign Indonesia’s Verdonk from Nijmegen

Ligue 1 side Lille have signed Indonesia defender Calvin Verdonk from Dutch side NEC Nijmegen on a three-year contract. The 28-year-old has 10 caps.

Verdonk will become the first Indonesian to play in Ligue 1 and Lille's first Asian international player.

5pm: Como capture Austria defender Posch on loan

Como have secured Austria defender Stefan Posch from Bologna on a loan deal that includes an obligation to buy.

4.10pm: Musah seals Atalanta loan from Milan

United States midfielder Yunus Musah has joined Atalanta on loan from AC Milan, with the 22-year-old’s deal including an option to make the move permanent at the end of the season.

4.08pm: Mikautadze leave Lyon for Villarreal

Georgia forward Georges Mikautadze has joined Villarreal from Ligue 1's Olympique Lyonnais, the Spanish club said. Media reported that LaLiga side Villarreal paid €30 million for the 24-year-old.

3.53pm: Switzerland midfielder Rieder moves to Augsburg

Switzerland midfielder Fabian Rieder has joined Bundesliga outfit Augsburg from French side Stade Rennais.

3.52pm: Obafemi arrives at Bochum on loan

Ireland forward Michael Obafemi has joined German second-tier side VfL Bochum on a season-long loan, his Premier League club Burnley said.

3.40pm: Hamburg sign midfielder Lokonga from Arsenal

Belgium midfielder Sambi Lokonga has joined Bundesliga side Hamburg SV on a permanent deal from Arsenal. The 25-year-old joined Arsenal in 2021 from Anderlecht, making 39 appearances for the north London side before loan spells at Crystal Palace, Luton Town and Sevilla.

3.30pm: Gonzalez moves from Juve to Atletico Madrid

Argentine forward Nico Gonzalez has joined LaLiga side Atletico Madrid on a season-long loan from Juventus with an option to buy.

3.30pm: Stuttgart sign El Khannouss on loan from Leicester

Morocco international Bilal El Khannouss has joined VfB Stuttgart on loan from Leicester City. The 21-year-old made 32 Premier League appearances for Leicester last season.

3.02pm: Bournemouth sign Milosavljevic from Red Star

Bournemouth have secured 18-year-old Serbian defender Veljko Milosavljevic from Red Star Belgrade on a five-year contract worth around £13 million.

3.01pm: Emerson leaves West Ham for Marseille

Defender Emerson Palmieri has joined Olympique de Marseille on a permanent transfer after three years at West Ham United, the Premier League club announced.

3pm: Leverkusen sign midfielder Fernandez from Al-Qadsiah

Argentine midfielder Ezequiel Fernandez has joined Bayer Leverkusen from Saudi Pro League side Al-Qadsiah on a contract until June 2030. The 23-year-old, who moved to Saudi Arabia from Boca Juniors last year, played four matches and scored once for Argentina at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

2.45pm: Elmas returns to Napoli

North Macedonia midfielder Eljif Elmas has rejoined Serie A side Napoli on loan from RB Leipzig, after leaving for the Bundesliga club in early 2024.

2pm: Chelsea sign Buonanotte on loan from Brighton

Argentina midfielder Facundo Buonanotte has joined Chelsea on a season-long loan from Brighton & Hove Albion. The 20-year-old has made 71 Premier League appearances, scoring nine goals with four assists since the 2023-24 season playing for Brighton and during a loan spell at Leicester City in the last campaign.

1.55pm: Wolves buy striker Arokodare from Genk

Nigeria forward Tolu Arokodare has joined Wolverhampton Wanderers from Belgian side Genk on a four-year deal. Wolves paid a fee of around £24 million for the 24-year-old.

Wolves sold forwards Matheus Cunha to Manchester United and Fabio Silva to Borussia Dortmund earlier in the window.

1.15pm: Genoa sign midfielder Onana on loan from Besiktas

Cameroon midfielder Jean Onana has rejoined Genoa on loan from Besiktas with an option to buy, having made nine appearances for the club since his previous loan move in January.

1.15pm: Strasbourg acquire midfielder Enciso from Brighton

Paraguay international Julio Enciso has joined Ligue 1 side Strasbourg from Brighton & Hove Albion, where he made 57 appearances, scoring five goals with six assists. He spent the second half of last season on loan at Ipswich Town.

1pm: Girona Sign striker Vanat from Dynamo Kyiv

LaLiga side Girona have completed the signing of 23-year-old Ukraine forward Vladyslav Vanat from Dynamo Kyiv in a deal worth around €15 million.

12pm: Villa bring in former United defender Lindelof

Aston Villa have signed 31-year-old Swedish defender Victor Lindelof on a free transfer following his departure from Manchester United at the end of last season.

9.15am: Fiorentina land defender Lamptey from Brighton

Ghana defender Tariq Lamptey, 24, has joined Serie A side Fiorentina after a five-and-a-half-year spell at Brighton.

9am: Bournemouth add defender Jimenez on loan from Milan

Bournemouth have brought in 20-year-old Spanish full-back Alex Jimenez on loan from AC Milan after selling defenders Dean Huijsen to Real Madrid, Illia Zabarnyi to PSG and Milos Kerkez to Liverpool in the transfer window.

Bournemouth have already signed centre-back Bafode Diakite from Lille for £34.6 million in August. REUTERS
