Shaheen says teamwork secures ODI series win over Proteas

Pakistan ODI captain Shaheen Shah Afridi has said that the ODI series victory against South Africa was the result of teamwork, giving full credit to his players for their efforts.

Expressing his thoughts in a presentation ceremony, Afridi said that the players worked hard and prepared thoroughly for each match. Afridi praised the spinners for effectively controlling the South African side throughout the series.

The Pakistan captain was of the view that in international cricket, one must always be ready for every kind of situation. Afridi added that winning the series has given the team great confidence.

He emphasised that preparations must begin early for the challenges that lie ahead.
