Virat Kohli-Anushka Sharma kicked out of New Zealand cafe after 4-hour conversation, recalls cricketer Jemimah Rodrigues

Jemimah revealed that Anushka also accompanied Virat to the café and the players initially discussed cricket for the first half an hour. She said, “He actually told Smriti and me that ‘you both have the power to change women’s cricket, and I can see that happening.’”

Jemimah also recalled that their conversation soon shifted from cricket to life and many other things with Virat and Anushka. However, their chat went on for nearly four hours. “It felt like a few long-lost friends who met and spoke. The only reason we stopped was because the cafe staff kicked us out,” she said.

Virat and Anushka moved to London after becoming parents. The couple wanted a quiet life away from the paparazzi and limelight, which is why they chose to settle there. Anushka even welcomed her second child, Akaay Kohli, in London in 2024. The family is often spotted strolling around the city with their kids, Vamika and Akaay.
