Big Loss For India As Rana Ruled Out Of England Series

Aditya Rana and Khilan Patel are ruled out of India’s upcoming U19 tour of England

India’s U-19 squad has faced a big setback on June 16 (Monday), as left-arm pacer Aditya Rana and all-rounder Khilan Patel are ruled out of the upcoming tour to England. Instead, the Junior Cricket Committee has named Deepesh and Naman Pushpak as their replacements for the red-ball tour.

While the left-arm pacer Rana sustained a stress fracture in his lower back, Khilan suffered a stress reaction in his right leg during the ongoing high-performance camp at the BCCI Centre of Excellence.

Barring that, India have pretty much everyone ready for the tour, with Ayush Mhatre leading the side, as all eyes will be on the aggressive Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, who smashed a century in the lead-up to the series.
