Jimmy Butler wants out, but it’s unclear who will come knocking on Miami’s door.

Oddsmakers at DraftKings Sportsbook have pinpointed the Phoenix Suns as the favorites to land the former Eastern Conference Finals MVP, coming in at +125 odds.

For such a trade, the Suns would have to include guard Bradley Beal as a trade chip.

Phoenix, though, will have a tough time getting a taker on that contract, as he still has a no-trade clause with three years and $161 million left on his deal.

His agent also told ESPN that Beal has not been approached yet about waiving his no-trade clause.

If the Heat can’t find a dance partner, they are +225 to hang onto Butler, the second-favorite to employ Butler after the Feb. 6 trade deadline.

Betting odds on next team for a given player is an imperfect way of identifying a market for players.

Oddsmakers take a massive vig (fee) in these types of markets, with implied odds coming in at roughly 180 percent when, in reality, the chance of a given event actually taking place is simply 100 percent.

Still, there are some interesting landing spots here, as Butler demanded a trade just last week and was suspended for conduct detrimental to the team.

The Suns are rightful favorites as they are still committed to tweaking their roster and contending for a championship.

Betting on the NBA?

Phoenix is a ways away from that, though, considering they are 12-16 and the No. 12 seed in a crowded Western Conference.

A long-shot contender to snag Butler is the San Antonio Spurs, who have gone toe-to-toe with some of the NBA’s best this season and could use a running mate for budding superstar Victor Wembanyama.

At 40/1, you’re getting excellent value as the Spurs have cap space to bring Butler in and assets to entice Pat Riley.

Of course, Butler, who has one year left on his deal plus a player option for next year that he is set to decline, could try to force his way to the Suns using any bit of leverage he can.
