Fantasy Football Start 'Em, Sit 'Em Week 4: RB Edition

0
Last week in the NFL, the big-name running backs continued to put up plenty of fantasy points and do what they do. With Week 4 right around the corner, who are some backs that you can trust to rack up points for your team? We aren't talking about Jonathan Taylor, James Cook, or Christian McCaffrey either! Who are some that you may want to sit this week?

Start - Ashton Jeanty, Las Vegas Raiders

Jeanty and the Raiders are playing the Bears this week, which could give Jeanty the chance to finally break out and showcase the generational talent that he was drafted to do. Las Vegas and its fans haven't seen it yet. The Bears gave up almost 8 yards a carry to the Cowboys running back Javonte Williams last weekend. Chicago gives up a ton of rushing yards and points to opposing running backs. Is this the week that we see Jeanty reach his stride?

Start - J.K. Dobbins, Denver Broncos

Dobbins has 222 yards through the first three weeks of the season. It's an under-the-radar type of production to boot. A lot of folks have left him on the bench throughout fantasy football. Dobbins has been consistent with three rushing touchdowns as well. Against the Chargers and their stout defense, Dobbins put up good numbers and will face the Cincinnati Bengals this weekend. The Bengals are offering up the most yards to running backs throughout the league so far—something to keep an eye on.

Start - Omarion Hampton, Los Angeles Chargers

Hampton was inconsistent early, but has since picked up production. He put up great numbers against the Broncos, running for 70 yards and a touchdown, and catching six passes for 59 yards. With the Chargers facing the New York Giants this week, who give up a ton of yards to opposing rushers, it may be a play to start Hampton.

Sit - Travis Etienne, Jacksonville Jaguars

Things are weird right now for the Jaguars. I have predicted that they could part ways with Etienne this November during the trade deadline. Etienne had a touchdown last week, but the Jags give the ball to rookie running back Bhayshul Tuten in the red zone a lot! The Jaguars face the San Francisco 49ers this week, who rarely give up touchdowns to other teams' running games in any shape, form, or fashion.

Sit - Isiah Pacheco, Kansas City Chiefs

What is going on with Pacheco? He used to churn those legs and had his knees all the way up to his chest as he headed down the field. It was a sight to see, but something changed. Pacheco can barely buy yardage these days, and the Chiefs rely pretty heavily on Kareem Hunt as well. As far as the Chiefs run game, I would sit both Hunt and Pacheco unless a Flex position is needed in a pinch.

Sit - RJ Harvey, Denver Broncos

In week one, Harvey had a 50-yard run. Since that time, he has had a total of 30 rushing yards. Right now is just not the time, so please do not consider starting Harvey. Place him on the bench until further notice, or possibly drop him altogether.
