Matheus Cunha is coming for Marcus Rashford's Man Utd shirt.Matheus Cunha has completed his transfer to Manchester United, and the £62.5million deal could bring about change in more ways than one. United's new attacking maverick may not only replace Marcus Rashford in Ruben Amorim's front three, but he could be about to snatch his shirt number while he is at it. On Thursday, the Red Devils announced Cunha as their first recruit of the summer transfer window as part of the 2025/26 home kit launch. The 26-year-old took to his Instagram story to post a polaroid photo of himself in United's new home shirt, capped off with his autograph. Accompanying a fiery love heart emoji, Cunha captioned the image: "It's all about you following your dreams!" However, a more talk-worthy detail was the No. 10, which belongs to Rashford at United, that he added to his autograph on the polaroid.Matheus Cunha wore the No. 10 at Wolves.Previous images have shown that Cunha always adds his shirt number to his autographs. But given the image marked his official arrival as a United player, there was an unshakable sense that it was a clear sign of things to come. Rashford is currently the M16 giants' No. 10 but is strongly expected to depart in a permanent transfer this summer, having spent the second half of last season on loan at Aston Villa.SUBSCRIBE Invalid email We use your sign-up to provide content in ways you've consented to and to improve our understanding of you.
