The United Arab Emirates (UAE) have named the 17-member squad for the Asia Cup 2025. Veteran Muhammad Waseem will lead the team during the Asia Cup . The tournament will be played in the UAE, but the hosting rights will stay with India, who are the official host of the tournament. The familiarity with the conditions will give a slight advantage to the UAE during the mega event. In their home conditions, the UAE can be a force to reckon with, and they've proven their abilities by beating teams like Bangladesh at home.

The team is clubbed with India , Pakistan, and Oman in Group A, and they'll need at least two wins to qualify for the Super 4s. While India might be a bit too strong a team to beat, Pakistan is a vulnerable side, and the UAE could hope to pull off an upset against the Men in Green.

UAE Schedule For Asia Cup 2025

UAE will open their campaign against India on September 10 before playing Pakistan on September 17. The team will also play Oman on September 15. Former India cricketer Lalchand Rajput will coach the team during the Asia Cup, having taken over the role recently.

UAE are currently playing a tri-series with Pakistan and Afghanistan and so far have underperformed in the matches they have played.
