Welz has overseen 141 top-flight fixtures, while Willenborg has taken charge of 121.Dr. Felix Brych holds the outright record (359), the 50-year-old having overtaken Wolfgang Stark's 349 Bundesliga games early in the 2024/25 season.The new Bundesliga campaign kicks off on 22 August when defending champions Bayern Munich host RB Leipzig. The final matchday of the season is scheduled to take place on 16 May 2026.
