An eight-man bench has been named ahead of the Round 23 clash with Geelong on Sunday.

Several players have been ruled out for the club's last home game including Brodie Grundy who suffered concussion late in last week's game on The Gabba. Senior coach Dean Cox confirmed the news on Wednesday.

"He's okay. He's doing all the protocols. He's doing all the testing he needs to do. Getting his body moving and reporting really well through that. So that's the first part of the protocol process is to make sure that he can tick off every day as it comes," Cox said in a press conference.

Justin McInerney will miss the rest of the season after suffering a PCL injury in last week's game.

After a strong performance in the VFL, Peter Ladhams is expected to join the side.

"Pete Ladhams has played some really good VFL football, so he'll get his opportunity to lead the run," the coach added.

Meanwhile Jesse Dattoli, Will Green and Corey Warner have been named on the interchange.
