Kinnear speaks out as Everton strike mega-money agreement

Everton are still preparing the final details of the move to their new stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock.

The Hill Dickinson Stadium will host Everton’s home games for the first time during the 2025-26 season and beyond.

And the Merseyside club have announced a new deal that will enhance the experience for fans attending the matches.

Everton agree deal with Seat Unique

Everton have struck a deal with events and hospitality ticketing platform Seat Unique.

The London-based company will be Everton’s official platform for hospitality tickets and premium experiences.

MORE TOFFEES STORIES

After the deal was finalised, Everton CEO Angus Kinnear said that the partnership would help to redefine expectations of what a premium experience should be, both in sports and entertainment.

He revealed that there have already been huge levels of interest in these premium experiences ahead of the 2025-26 season.

“Seat Unique’s platform will support and scale that demand, delivering access to unforgettable experiences for our most passionate fans, as well as helping attract new fans from across the country and around the world,” he told the club’s official website on Monday (16 June).

Seat Unique is already partnered with Wembley Stadium and the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, among other famous venues.

As part of the deal, hospitality ticket holders will be able to watch the game from a reclining armchair with a cupholder and a personal TV screen.

Investors in the company include England captain Harry Kane.

Everton fans will be able to purchase experience on a match-by-match basis shortly after the Premier League fixtures are published on Wednesday (18 June).

Everton fans will be responsible for making new stadium a fortress

Goodison Park was Everton’s home stadium for over 130 years.

It rightly held the reputation of providing one of the best atmospheres in the Premier League. When the place was rocking, you could feel the stadium shaking.

It’s now up to Everton fans to provide a similar level of support at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.

It can sometimes take a while for teams to generate that atmosphere in a new stadium. Many modern football stadiums are labelled as soulless bowls, and rightly so in many cases.

Everton can’t afford for that to happen to them.

The raucous atmosphere at Goodison Park provided so many amazing memories, both in the Premier League era and before that.

It helped spur the team on to produce some tremendous home form in its most successful seasons.

If Everton are to push on under David Moyes next season, the fans at Bramley-Moore Dock will have a huge role to play.

Of course, it’s Moyes’ responsibility to build a team befitting of such a stadium. And while no new signings have been confirmed yet, Everton supporters can expect a busy transfer window.
