Three FCSB stars will miss tonight's game against Aberdeen as they were denied visas after landing in the North East.

The Romanians take on the Dons at Pittodrie in the first leg of their Europa League playoff tie, with the winners securing group stage football in UEFA’s second tier competition.

However, boss Elias Charalambous will be without Montengran left back Risto Radunovic, centre back Baba Alhassan of Ghana and South Africa defender Siyabonga Ngezana.

According to reports in Romania, the trio were held at Aberdeen airport for hours before being allowed to make their way to the team hotel.

However, they were put under surveillance en route and whilst there, before eventually being told they were not being granted visas, ruling them out of the game against Jimmy Thelin's men.

The Bucharest club have not been shy in talking up their chances against the Reds.

Madcap owner Gigi Becali is already counting the £12million jackpot he claims his club will land WHEN they qualify for the league phase.

That came after Romania internationals Dennis Politic and David Miculescu both insisted knocking Aberdeen out would be no problem for the club formerly known as Steaua Bucharest.

However, their chances have likely taken a dent with three of their defenders now forced to sit out the first leg.
